Alexis Bean and her St. John’s University left its home meet the St. John’s University Invitational at St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, N.Y. with seven individual titles and a pair of personal-best performances.
One of those titles was Bean winning the Girls 800-meter competition with a time of 2:20.92.
Bean finished more than five seconds ahead of the second place finisher Katherine Colon who clocked 2:25.96 and Samantha Meyerhoff finished third with a time of 2:27.96.
