Bermuda have won the right to host the 2012 Carifta Games. Bermuda Track and Field Association President Donna Watson said, "Bahamas who was bidding against us pulled out and with the support of our Ministry of Environment and Sports we have successfully won the right to hold Carifta in Bermuda 2012".
Attending the NACAC Congress and reading the letter and presenting from the Ministry was the Permanent Secretary, Ellen-Kate Horton.
