Current BTFA Athletes CAC Rankings

www.islandstats.com now brings you the current rankings of the Central American & Caribbean Athletics Confederation current rankings as of October 15th. These numbers will have Bermuda Track and Field Association President Donna Watson excited about 2010, and will have other local media contacting her for a story.

Tristan Joynes ran a wind assisted 14.85 to rank 4th in the 0.99 110 meter Hurdles. Ashley Berry running in the 3000 meters is ranked 21st for her 10:41.33 time ran at the Carifta Games. Aaron Evans’ time of 1:49.35 has seen him record the 16th fastest 800 time for 2009, while Trey Simons’/ time of 9:07.39 is the 17th fastest time in the 3000 meters.

Arantxa King is ranked 22nd in Long Jump with a leap of 6.21 meters, King also had a leap of 6.47 meters, which saw her ranked 5th in Wind Assisted leaps, while Shianne Smith is ranked 42nd with a leap of 5.97 meters. King is ranked 24th in Triple Jump with a leap of 12.88 meters, while Andrea Jackson’s leap of 12.66 see her ranked 34th.

Tyrone Smith’s 8.02 leap on June 19th sees him ranked 7th, Shianne Smith is ranked 10thin the Women’s Heptatlon with 5079 points.
