The Pan American Junior Championships got underway at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain Trinidad.
Running in the Women’s 1500M Ashley Berry finished 8th with a time of 5:24.25, while Alexis Bean finished 9th in 5:32.61. Tristan Joynes running in the Men’s 110M Hurdles finished 7th in Heat 2 with a time of 14.85. Joynes did not advance.
Jeneko Place running in heat 3 of the Men’s 100M Dash finished 8th in a time of 10.82, Place did not advance to the Semi-Finals.
