Competing at the Grand Prix International Athletics Track Meet in Bogota Colombia, saw Shianne Smith jump a Personal Best in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.97. Smith also ran in the 100m hurdles.
Smith said, “During the Men's Long Jump the winds came up and several of the 15 competitors fouled when they jumped.
Tyrone Smith placed 2nd with a jump of 7.96, Smith was hoping to jump over 8.0m but with the windy conditions it wasn't to be.
The pair will be traveled to the Meet with coach Brian Wellman and manager Tamika William.
