President of the Bermuda Track & Field Association Donna Watson said, “Several of the Flyer athletes have been competing in International meets representing Bermuda and have just returned home or some are heading off to the Pan Am Jrs representing Bermuda and therefore there are only the 9 athletes remaining to compete for Flyers at East Coast”.
“They should put in some good performances even though it is just a few traveling. We will be looking for some good results and they should be coming back with a few medals. Dage Minors should fair very well in all three of his events that he has entered in his age group and based on the entry list he should definitely be in the top 3, concluded Watson.
