Bermuda Pacers Track Club athletes competed on Day 2 of the Fourth Annual United Age Group coaches’ Association Youth Invitational (UAGTCA) Track Meet.
On Day Two of the event saw Pace Members have collected One Gold Medal, a Silver medal and Two Bronze Medals.
Trey Simons smashed the 3000 meter Intermediate Boys Record in the UAGTCA he set last year, Simons last year was clocked at 9:23.83 this year he hit the tape at 9:07.40 to win the Gold Medal, Juma Mouchette finished 3rd in a time of 9:59.96 to win the Bronze Medal.
Jordan Bascome won the Silver Medal when she finished 2nd with a leap of 1.33m in the High Jump Midget Girls, while Jah-Nhai Perinchief won the Bronze Medal with a leap of 1.33m in the High Jump Midget Boys,
Finishing in a time of 11.71 saw Daniel Emery qualify for the 100 Meter Dash Intermediate Boys Final. Kyrah Scraders and Bascome both qualified for the 400 Meter Dash Midget Girls Finals when they finished 4th and 7th with times of 1:01.66 & 1:03.89 in the Preliminaries, Precious Hayward finished 11th with a time of 1:05.93.
Perinchief finished 14th in the 400 Meter Dash Midget Boys in a time of 1:08.03, while competing in the Discus Throw Intermediate Girls, Deesa Booth finished 4th with a throw of 19.35m
