The final entries to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships were announced with six Stanford athletes including Arantxa King receiving at-large selections. Three men and three women were added to the team based on their performances during the season.
The selections announced for the men were Elliott Heath in the 5,000 meters, Jake Riley in the 10,000 meters and Chris Mocko in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The women added were Griffin Matthew in the 100 meters, Kate Niehaus in the 5,000 meters and King in the long jump.
The at-large selections will join the six men and seven women who had qualified automatically by placing in the top five in their event at the NCAA West Regional last weekend.
Following the at-large selections, Stanford now has a total of ten women in 11 events and nine men who will be traveling to the University of Arkansas for the NCAA Championships on June 10-13.
