BFA Celebrate Legacy in Youth Finals
The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) will honor two stalwarts of football administration this week with the 7th annual Gregory Grimes and Leonard DeRosa Holder Cup Finals.

Over this weekend, these two former Vice Presidents of the BFA will be honored.

Gregory Grimes Under-13 Finals

On Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Clyde Best Centre of Excellence, X-Roads will meet St. David's in the Gregory Grimes Under 13-B Final at 6:30 p.m.

X-Roads shut out Dandy Town Gold with a score of 2 - 0 in the Semi-Final courtesy of two goals from Jamarion Dill. St. David's advanced to the final after defeating Devonshire Colts 2 - 0 in the other semi-final. Wendell Simmons and Jahmiah Cocklin were on target for the East Enders.

The 8:00 p.m. match will feature North Village taking on Dandy Town Brown in the Gregory Grimes Under 13 A Final. Both teams recorded comfortable victories to reach the final.

Kaiyuri Albouy scored twice to lead North Village to a 4-0 win over Somerset Cricket Club, with Chaz Edmead and Yasin Smith scoring for the defending champions. Dandy Town Brown overcame PHC 4-1 in harsh conditions. Amai Harvey led the Hornets with two goals, while Ryan Desilva and Azai Dyer added a goal each to the final score.

Leonard DeRosa Holder Under-15 Finals

PHC will take on Warwick Football Academy in the Leonard DeRosa Holder Under-15 final on Saturday, November 11, at 5:00 at the Somerset Cricket Club.

The final will serve as a curtain raiser for the Dudley Eve Final between Devonshire Cougars and North Village. Luke Horan scored two second-half goals to lead a spirited Warwick team to a 2-1 come-from-behind win over FC Bascome. Zachary McGuire had given FC Bascome a first-half lead before Horan settled matters and sent Warwick into the finals. They will face PHC, who defeated Dandy Town 1-0 in the other Semi-Final thanks to a fine goal from Kruz Iris.

The display of football by Bermuda's young people pays homage to the two gentlemen each tournament is named after.

We thank each participating club in the competition thus far and look forward to hosting football fans across the island as we discover who the champions will be this season.
