 Jaden Masters and her University of Houston Soccer program earned its first Big 12 Conference win after defeating West Virginia, 2 - 1, at the Carl Lewis International Complex.
Houston found the match's first goal following a corner kick as sophomore forward Cameryn Maddox set up Alexis Fowlkes with the goal. This marks Fowlkes' second goal of the season.
West Virginia immediately responded in the 27th minute of action as forward Taylor White scored the equalizer.
Six minutes later, senior midfielder Caitlyn Matthews began another scoring play off another corner kick, with Sofia Weber heading the ball into the net to give Houston the 2 - 1 victory.
