 Jaden Masters and her University of Houston Soccer program closed its non-conference slate with a 1 - 0 defeat to Texas State at the Carl Lewis International Complex.
Before the start of the match, the University of Houston honored their eight seniors – Ava Alaniz, Maddie Bowers, Allie Byrd, Cordelia Cross, Mikaela Gracia, Nadia Kamassah, Caitlyn Matthews, and Genaye Sanders – for their contributions to the program.
Houston outshot Texas State with 11 shots on goal and held the corner kick advantage, 9-5.
Sophomore forward Cameryn Maddox led the team with four shots, while Matthews posted three shots.
