Halil Dervişoğlu and Darko Churlinov were both on the scoresheet, with Samuel Bastien also playing 90 minutes, as Ne-Jai Tucker and his Burnley Under 21 teammates came from behind to defeat Coventry City 2 - 1 in Professional Development League action.
Coventry City was awarded a penalty which allowed them to take the lead in the 33rd minute, Tom Costello was the man to put the spot kick away.
Burnley’s leveler would eventually arrive at 66 minutes via Turkish international Dervişoğlu. The striker was quick to react when a shot from a corner was deflected into his path.
10 minutes later, the turnaround was complete when Dervişoğlu capitalized on a defensive error to burst into the area and square for teammate Churlinov to tap home into an empty net.
