Jai Bean and his Duke University Men's Soccer teammates, ranked seventh in the country, used two second-half goals to storm back and defeat 10th-ranked Louisville on the road.

Bean scored a goal in his first game of the season, and Shakur Mohammed netted his third in 2022 to lead Duke's offensive efforts. Eliot Hamill allowed his first goal of the year but responded with a season-high seven saves.

Adrian Trott and his second-ranked Amherst College Men's Soccer teammates drew 1 – 1 with the #8 Middlebury College in their NESCAC opener on Hitchcock Field.

Leilanni Nesbeth and her No. 8 Florida State Women’s Soccer teammates traveled to take on Rice on their home field on a hot, Texas afternoon picking up a 5 - 0 win.

Florida State now improves to 141-56-11 in the month of September and is unbeaten in its last 15 games dating back to the final game of the regular season in 2021. This also marks the eighth time in program history that Florida State has started unbeaten through the first six games of the season.
