Laws said, “This football past season for me was intriguing but also challenging. It was my first season set up to play in one of the reserve teams of Rayo Vallecano. I was nervous at the beginning but mostly excited. The coaches and my older teammates helped improve my mental side of the game which was key.
However, in November I stopped training and playing entirely for a couple of months due to having patellar tendonitis in my left knee. I was quite frustrated because I thought I was finding my feet in the team. I took it on the chin and nailed the focus on the physical side of my football.
At the moment I'm still recovering and working on the end stages of my tendonitis so I can be ready to work for next season.
I’m happy where I am at the moment playing my football in Spain and wouldn't want to change that but I don't mind exploring options if an opportunity catches my eye.”
