Amir Dill, Kuame Clarke-Hinds, Adio Tankard-Deshields, Eijaz Shakir and their Ackworth School Football Academy teammates took on Astera Academy, coming away with a 2 - 2 draw.
Ackworth coaches are proud of the progress the academy is making and will be eager to see what the second half of Autumn Term brings.
Shakir scored the second goal for Ackworth.

LeiLanni Nesbeth and her Florida State Seminole Soccer teammates advanced to the ACC Championship for the seventh time in the last nine seasons and the 13th time overall with a 2-1 overtime win against No. 25 Wake Forest.
Wake Forest broke the scoreless tie in the 31st minute on a goal from Sofia Rossi, assisted by Jenna Menta. In the 42nd minute Florida State tied the game with a goal from Lauren Flynn, the second of the season for her and the second of her career.
Florida State would come away victorious this time as freshman Maria Alagoa came through in the 97th minute with her fifth goal of the season.
