Ne-Jai Tucker scored twice to lead Burnley Under 23 to a 6 – 2 victory over the Blackburn Rovers.
Also scoring for Burnley was Michael Mellon, captain Rob Harker, Dara Costelloe, and Sam Unwin secured a win for Burnley in their penultimate pre-season friendly.
Tucker scored his first, when he curled a shot into the back of the net to make it 3-0 with the help of a deflection.
Tucker grabbed his second of the afternoon, to make it 5. Again with the ball in the area, he looked for the far corner, and without the need for a deflection this time around, the ball sailed exactly where he had aimed it.
