Mia Fishel and her Pac-12 champion UCLA Women’s Soccer teammates earned the No. 3 overall seed at the NCAA Women's Soccer Championships and will have a first-round bye to start the 48-team tournament.
UCLA will play the winner of the April 27th first-round matchup of Iowa vs. Campbell in the second round. UCLA's second-round matchup will take place on April 30th at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C.
The entire tournament will be held in Cary, N.C., and the surrounding areas. Games will be held on campus at Campbell, East Carolina, and the University of North Carolina Wilmington, in addition to Bryan Park (Greensboro), J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex (Wilson), Sportsplex (Mathews), and WakeMed Soccer Park (Cary). Third-round games will be contested on May 5th, with the Quarter-Finals on May 9th.
The College Cup will feature the Division I Men's and Women's Soccer National Champions being crowned on the same weekend. The Women's Semi-Finals will be held May 13th with the Men's Semi-Finals following on May 14th. The Championship games will be played on May 17th at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.
This is UCLA's 24th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament. UCLA has a 68-19-5 all-time NCAA record and has advanced to the Round of 16 or beyond in seven of the last eight seasons, including two College Cup appearances in the last three seasons (2017 and 2019) and the 2013 NCAA title.
