The Argentine Football Association (AFA) in conjunction with the Argentine Embassy in Bridgetown and the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) will host a videoconference for CFU, titled National Youth Teams Management and Training Model, for CFU Member Associations.
The videoconference will be held in groups, with the first being on Friday, May 8th, 2020, starting at 3 pm. The three facilitators are Hermes Aldo, an Argentine former professional footballer who played for Independiente, Celta de Vigo, UD Salamanca and Deportivo Alavés; Desio Jerónimo Aimar, a professional football physical trainer who holds degrees in Sports High Performance, Sports Nutrition and Physical Education; and Román Manassero, a professional football coach with vast experience both in Argentina and abroad.
“CFU members including Bermuda will have the chance to learn first-hand about the work experience, training models and management of the national youth teams of Argentina, a country recognized worldwide for its long-term work and several achievements in the underage squads,” said Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Argentina to Barbados Demian Dobry.
The participants will also learn, in detail, the preparation process for international tournaments, as well as the training schemes during such competitions,” Dobry added.
