The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Women's Soccer Team defeated Jade Stewart, Jazae Smith and Symira Lowe-Darrell and their Holland College Women’s Soccer teammates 2-0 at Clareview Turf Field in the 2019 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships.
The trio of Bermudian’s and their teammates claimed the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) championship at the end of October after defeating the St. Thomas University (STU) Tommies in the finals by a score of 3-2.
Holland went a perfect 11-0-1 in conference play while NAIT, the Ontario Collegiate Athletic Association (OCAA) champions, enter the national championship as the number one team in the country. They were 8-0-1 during the regular season and eventually won the OCAA conference championship by defeating the Seneca College Sting in the championship game, 2-0.
