Jarryd Richardson and is ISFA Under 15 teammates played a hard fought game against a Scottish Youth FA Select team, ISFA took a well-earned lead from a curling effort from Daniel Monterrer from 25 yards. ISFA doubled their lead 10 minutes later when Monterrer went on a run, beating two players and earning a penalty. Monferrer stepped up and slotted home from the spot to make it 2-0.
Scotland rallied and just before half time pulled a goal back. In a hard fought second half Scotland got a late equalizer to deny ISFA a well-earned win.
KAA Gent 7 ISFA Under 16 Team 3
Nahjé Smith and Nasje Brockington were in the ISFA Under 16 team who went down 7 – 3 to KAA Gent in their opening match on their European Tour in Belgium.
After conceding within the first minute ISFA battled back to equalize through a deflected shot from Rafa Kaidussis and they would take the lead with a headed effort from Tom Collings. Just before the break ISFA extended their lead through a well finished Josh Scott strike.
ISFA had the first chance of the second half but the opportunity was missed and Gent scored on the counter attack. The home side dominated the next 15 minutes scoring 6 goals. ISFA created a number of opportunities to reduce the deficit but the score finished 7-3.
