Yushae DeSilva-Andrade and Omar Hayward were both back in Boccia action competing in the Para Pan American Games in Chile.
DeSilva-Andrade would take to the court early in the BC1 Individual Female Division Pool A, she was up against Dayana Quiroz from Colombia, DeSilva-Andrade led from start to finish, and she won the first end 1 – 0, Desilva-Andrade doubled the lead winning the second end 1 – 0.
DeSilva-Andrade would then score 3 points in the third end to take a 5 – 0 lead, Quiroz would get 2 points in the fourth end to make the final score 5 – 2.
Omar Hayward went down 5 - 2 in his Semi-Final against Canada’s Lance Cryderman.
Cryderman held a 1 – 0 lead at the end of the first end, Cryderman would score four points in the second end to take a 5 – 0 lead.
Hayward would pull a point back in the third end to make it 5 – 1 with one end to play, Hayward would then get another point in the fourth end to make the final score 5 – 2.
