Godfrey then finished fourth in the first heat of the 400m with a time of 54.95.

Constable Douglas competed in Ten Pin Bowling.

Jones said, “On my race day it was extremely hot, the temperature had risen to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I’ll admit my race was most challenging because of the heat, many people had to walk and some couldn’t finish and had to be transported away by ambulance. I was fortunate enough to have had plenty of experience to know to keep hydrated and run smartly within my means to not let the heat beat me, let alone the other participants.”
