Isabelle Dutranoit has been tearing up the Track after her Gold Medal performance at the Carifta Games according to Donna Raynor the Bermuda National Athletics Association President. Raynor sent out to the media giving an update on Dutranoit, Raynor wrote, “Dutranoit competed in a home track meet over the weekend at Suffield Academy in Connecticut against 2 other schools. She won the 3000m in a new school Record of 10.18 breaking the previous record of 10.32. She also broke her own record which she recorded at the Carifta Games of 10.21. She then turned around and won the 1500m in a new school Record of 4.56.11 breaking the previous record of 4.56.75. She has 2 more meets ahead of her and she is hoping to lower her time in both events even more. It is great to see our athletes participating well after the games and of course setting school records. We are hoping that Dutranoit will be available to compete at the NACAC U18 & U23 Championships in Queretaro, Mexico July 5th - 7th,” concluded Raynor.
