The nomination forms will be available at the Department and other outlets around the island, with the deadline set for December 15th.
The Sports Awards Nomination Forms will be released for the Awards Year January 1st, 2018 to December 15th, 2018.
Awards are presented to competitive athletes who are clearly recognized as the most Outstanding Male or Female athlete during the current awards year.
The awards is presented to athletes who excel in National or International competitions, and during the current year, should have advanced at least to the final grouping (round), or a position deemed to be equivalent, in a recognized international or world competition, or first in a national competition.
Meanwhile the Junior Male and Female athlete must have demonstrated an obvious programme of maintained excellence and conduct with the ideals of the sport.
