Micah Pond and her Brookhaven College Lady Bears came from behind to tie Richland College 1-1 and claim their second straight Dallas Athletic Conference title.
Brookhaven fell behind in the 11th minute in a hotly contested match. Freshman midfielder Tatiana Garcia would rescue a point for Brookhaven in the 46th minute to clinch the conference title.
Brookhaven will now prepare to defend their Region 5 District F Tournament Title.
