A letter addressed to the Bermuda Cricket Board and the media states, “Due to a number of factors and circumstances, the Combined Counties have reluctantly decided to forego this year’s Champion of Champions competition. In doing so, we are committed to earnestly starting the planning for next year’s competition to ensure that all three Counties can showcase their respective talents to all of our cricket fans.”
