Crowds of people are lining the streets, many throwing flowers and chanting “Ali, Ali, Ali”, as Muhammad Ali’s funeral procession makes its way through the streets of Louisville, Kentucky.
Muhammad Ali’s funeral and memorial service is being held today in Kentucky, with live video allowing people from around the world to observe and reflect on the life of the legendary boxer and activist.
Following his passing earlier this month, Bermudians joined with those around the world in paying tribute to ‘The Greatest’, with Ali remembered by a number of people on the island, including Rolfe Commissiong, Dr Ewart Brown, Glenn Fubler, Chris Famous, Premier Michael Dunkley, and the members of Masjid Muhammad.
