Team Captain Tabytha Hofheins turned in Bermuda’s top performance at the Chicago Style Invitational, winning the Gold Medal during her Vaulting performance with a 9.3 and the Bronze in the All-Around with 34.45 in the Level Nine 16+ Age Group.
The 17 year old Warwick Academy student led the squad of ten National team members who made the trip from Bermuda for the “World’s Largest Gymnastics Meet”, which attracts 4,000 of the top Gymnasts from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Competing in the Level Six 11-year old category was Jezhari Talbot, a promising athlete and youngest member of the team. Talbot had a consistent performance highlighted by an 8.85 on Vaulting.
In the level 7 Session, Gianna Webbe turned in a stellar Floor exercise routine for a 9.35 and an 8th place Medal in the 13-year old Division, Ava Marshall had her highest placement on Beam with an 8.725 and Trinity Wilson recorded her high score on Vaulting with a 8.75.
Competing alongside Hofheins in the level Nine 16+ Year Old Age Group was Sydney Mason who earned 4th place on Floor with a 9.0 and Gabby Vincent had her highest finish on Bars with 5th place.
Danielle Wall had her top score of 8.7 on Vaulting and Sam Soares earned a pair of 8.05s on Vault and Beam. Anna Francoeur earned an 8th Medal in the 12 Year Old Division on Balance Beam with an 8.45.
