Good news for the Bermuda NatWest Island Games, with the news that Guernsey are sending a Men’s and Women’s Golf Team.
Guernsey Golf selectors have announced a new face in each of the Men’s and Women’s teams for the NatWest Island Games in Bermuda this summer. Former Women’s Muratti team goalkeeper Helen Lagadu has been included in the women’s team for the first time while teenager Nick Wildman will make his Games debut in the Men’s section. The full teams are, men: Sam Crenan, Matthew Parkman, Gavin O’Neill and Nick Wildman, all from the Royal Jersey Golf Club. Royal colleague Stephen Anderson is a non-travelling reserve. Lagadu, of St Clement LGC, is joined by La Moye members Gloria Paradiso, Elaine Pushman and Frances Shaw. The women have named two reserves, Virginia Austin-Walker (La Moye) and Sue Evans (Les Mielles).
