The Bermuda Rouleurs Cycle Club (BRCC) hosted the latest edition of the Ronde van Sint George Criterium cycling race.
The Criterium took place in St. Georges, with its Water Street cobbles and tight turns, was ideal for criterium racing, requiring great skill and power from the riders to maintain speed and float over the obstacles.
Three VT Construction riders dominated the A & B Division race, with Dominique Mayho clocking a winning time of 38:19.368, Jamie Cousins was second in 38:28.635, and Cameron Morris was third in 39:23.096.
Anthony Smith representing Winners Edge won the C Division race with a time of 30:37.097, Will Drea finished second in a time of 30:37.167 representing VT Construction, and Winners Edge rider Andrew Thomas was third clocking 30:37.590.
Young Annabelle Miller won the Women’s Division race clocking a time of 27:26.092 representing Winners Edge, Bicycle Works rider Panzy Olander was second clocking 27:29.583, and Bicycle Works rider Jennifer Lightbourne was third a lap down clocking 27:37.387.
The Youth A Division race was won by Dominic Wright representing Bicycle Works clocking 16:32.043, VT Construction rider Romy Drea was second 1 lap down clocking 16:48.378, and Independent rider Jonah MacGuinness who was also a lap down was third with a time of 16:48.639.
Gordon Smith representing Bicycle Works won the Youth B Division race with a time of 20:43.551, Makao Butterfield was second with a time of 20:49.284 representing Bermuda Cycling Academy and VT Construction rider Jens Drea was third with a time of 21:45.822.
