Following his performance in the recently concluded Redlands Bicycle Classic in California, Conor White took to social media to reflect.
White was ruled as a Did Not Finish in Stage 5, however, White did finish the race. His final position saw him move up from his overall 67th starting position to finish in 58th.
White wrote, “What a week! Just finished up an awesome 5 days of racing at the Redlands Bicycle Classic.
The team achieved so much this week, we managed to take the yellow jersey after the Time Trial on Stage 3, and we were able to successfully defend the jersey in the Crit.
We had our work cut out for us on the final day on the sunset loop and despite our best efforts we were unable to keep the lead and we lost the jersey on the final day.
Still, it was an amazing week for the team, and it shows what we are capable of and can achieve in the future!
We’ll be back next year aiming for that top step! I am wishing the boys the best of luck at the Tour of Gila this week! I’ll be down in the southeast doing the remainder of the US Speedweek Criteriums.”
