Only two days after the Sinclair Packwood Memorial Race, cyclists were back on the start line. The day could have been ruined when an incident took place with a motorist and a marshal.
As riders were approaching the round-a-bout coming out of St. David’s, a motorist refused to stop with the marshal almost being hit, the motorist stopped the car exited the vehicle, and went to what looked like throwing a punch at the marshal, just as this was happening a police car came upon the incident.
The police officer defused the situation speaking with the motorist who was eventually allowed to move on.
