The Irish team went into the penultimate stage of the Junior Tour of Ireland today with the yellow jersey but has unfortunately lost it on the Gallows Hill stage.
Nicolas Rivard of the Hot Tubes team came through to take 2nd place on the stage today behind his team mate, and stage winner Magus Sheffield.
And because gaps opened in what remained of the peloton as it climbed Gallows Hill to the finish line behind Sheffield, race leader today Nathan Keown has lost his yellow jersey to today’s runner-up Rivard.
Sheffield clocked a time of 2:50.51, Narraway crossed the line 89th with a time of 3:00.32, nine minutes and thirty-five seconds behind the Stage winner.
Narraway is now in 86th place, he has an overall time of 11:32.25, Narraway fell down one place with this ride. Narraway is 33 minutes and 31 seconds behind the Leader after Four Stages.
Narraway’s team USA East ID Talent are in 14th place down 6 places from their starting position of 8th place out of 28 teams with an overall time of 8:45.55.
