The Bermuda Match Play Championships 2023 continued at the Port Royal Golf Course with the Men’s and Ladies defending champions Jarryd Dillas and Kim Botelho advancing to the Semi-Finals.
Dillas in his First Round match defeated Mackih McGowan 9 & 7, he faced Harry Thompson in the Second Round and advanced 1Up. Dillas will play Adam Perry in his Semi-Final, Pery edged Oliver Betschart 2 7 1 to advance.
Jevon Roberts who defeated Ryno Daniels 5 7 3, will take on Damian Palayandi who defeated Mikus Ming 1Up in the other Semi-Final.
Botelho defeated Linda Down 7 & 6 in their match, she will face off against Ebonie Cox who defeated Tracy Nash 5 & 3. In the other Semi-Final, Tracy Burgess who defeated Katrin Burnie 3Up will face Alisa Sadeh who defeated Sienna Mosquera 6 & 4.
The Senior Men’s Championship saw Christopher Phillips advance to the Semi-Finals following his 5 & 3 victory over Angelo Pimental, he will face Geoffrey Piggott who defeated Andrew Elliott 2 & 1.
The other Semi-Final will feature Barry Brewer who needed a 19th hole to defeat Richard Neame, he will face Steven Perry who defeated Nicholas Jones 5 & 3.
