Camiko Smith competed in a 122nd United States Open Championship Qualifier.
Taking to The Golf Club at Oxford Greens in Connecticut, the field of 65 golfers competed for four spots, in a cold and breezy 25 knots wind.
Founded in 2005, Oxford Greens is the newest course in Connecticut. Our course is a top-ranked public course with luxurious greens that roll true and fast.
Smith shot a round of 11-over par 83, Smith’s round consisted of 10 Pars, 6 Bogey’s, 1 Double Bogey, and 1 Triple Bogey.
Smith said, “The greens were a bit tricky as well, you had to be precise with your shots or you were struggling to get up and down.”
