Redman, ranked 85th, made 5 Birdies against a lone Bogey in windy conditions at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton to stand on 10-under 203 after 54 holes.
Americans Ryan Armour, Wyndham Clark, and Kramer Hickok shared second on 204 with Australia's Matt Jones and Americans Ollie Schniederjans and Brian Gay on 205.
"Whoever plays the best tomorrow wins," Redman said. "And I think I have a good chance of doing that."
Ryan Brehm who is at 6-under posted the lowest round of the day, shooting six-under 65.
Matt Jones fired a 66 to move into a three-way tie for fifth with Brian Gay and Ollie Schniederjans at -8, 205, just two strokes off the lead.
Eric Dugas the Dark ‘n Stormy World Par 3 Championship winner made the CUT and he is in 68th p[lace at 9-over par after shooting a third-round 11-over par 82.
Via Social Media, Henrik Stenson wrote, “I’m sorry to have to withdraw from the Bermuda Championships due to an ankle problem. I hope to be back ASAP.”
