Campbell Earns Golf All-America Scholar Award

Three William & Mary men's golfers including Senior Walker Campbell were named 2020 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar Award winners.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically in Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. For 2019-20 only, they must participate in 40% of the team's competitive rounds.

Campbell rounded out his Tribe career by appearing in nine rounds during the shortened year. He recorded a 75.78 stroke per round score. For his career, he averaged a 74.88 stroke per round score and is tied for the best round in school history with his 65 (-7) in the first round score in the 2018 The Invitational at Savannah Harbor.
