In his first meet as the Horizontal Coach at the Kansas Track and Field team Brian Wellman's secured their third-consecutive KU-KSU-WSU Triangular Title in Manhattan, Kansas.
This marks the Jayhawks' sixth meet victory in the history of the Triangular, and Kansas surpassed last year's points total of 245.5 with this year's total of 254. The women's team emerged victorious with 129 points, while the men's team finished a close second with 125 points.
Wellman's athlete’s Tayton Klein dominated the Long Jump with a mark of 7.42m or 24 feet 4 ¼ inches, and Dillion Peters took first in the Triple Jump with a leap of 14.76m, which was a Personal Best.
