Perinchief Win's NACAC Silver Medal on Day 1 of Championships

JahNhai Perinchief picked up Bermuda’s first NACAC Championship Medal, as 8 Bermuda athletes competed on Day One of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Track and Field Championships.
Perinchief won the Silver Medal finishing second in the Men’s Triple Jump with a top leap of 15.89m, which came on his final attempt.
Antonio Bailey took to the track for the Men’s 400m Preliminaries, competing in Heat Two, Bailey finished 5th clocking a time of 50:40, his time saw him finish 11th overall.
Mikal Dill and Sadiq Nurse competed in the Men’s Long Jump, Dill finished 12th with a top leap of 6.21m, while Nurse was 13th with a top leap of 5.92m.
Sakari Famous has finished 4th in the Women’s High Jump, Famous recorded a top leap of 1.78m.
Tiara DeRosa saw action in the Women’s Discus, with a top toss of 46.42m which she threw on her first and third attempts saw her finish 6th.
Keturah Bulford-Trott finished 6th in Heat One of the Women’s 200m clocking a time of 26.03, she would finish 10th overall.
Suresh Black saw action advancing to the Men’s 200m Final, Black finished second in Heat Three clocking a time of 21.42, which saw him finish 8th overall.
