Terrance Armstrong competed in the Garden State Track Club’s Outdoor Club Championships.
Taking to the track for the 800 meters, Armstrong finished second clocking a time of 2:12.75.
Following the race, Armstrong posted on social media, “I was right where I wanted to be at 100 meters in and then at 500 meters in, but my left calf wouldn’t cooperate.
Had to ease it in the last 300 meters.
Track after 50 is like walking on a knife edge. You push your body as far as it can go without injury.
It's way more physical than mental and way less about feeling too tired to continue. There’s always another race around the corner.”
