The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Track and Field freshman Caitlyn Bobb will see her season continue at the NCAA Championships in the Women’s 400m after finishing 12th at the Preliminaries.
The freshman earned the last spot at the championships by .03 of a second.
Bobb finished fourth in her heat at 52.40, earning the final spot in the Semi-Finals in Oregon.
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Women’s 4x400m Relay team of Ariella Garcia, Petronilla Onyebadi, Ayanna Johnson, and Bobb finished in 21st to round out the competition with a time of 3:41.20.
Bobb will now take part in the NCAA Championships on Thursday, June 9th at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
