Caitlyn Bobb, Keturah Bulford-Trott, and their University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Women's Track and Field teammates continued their torrid spring, setting a new school record in the Women’s 4x200m Relay at the Penn Relays.
The mark broke an eight-year record held since 2014.
Bobb, Savannah Wright, Bulford-Trott, and Collese Daley finished second in the Women’s 4x200m Relay to qualify for the finals on Saturday.
The quartet finished in a time of 1:36.42 besting the previous record of 1:37.23 set in 2014.
Bobb, Bulford-Trott, and Wright teamed up with Petronilla Onyebadi earlier in the day to take first in the Women’s 4x100m Relay to qualify for the finals with a time of 46.14. That time was just .06 seconds off the school record.
Not to be outdone, the 4x400m relay team of Ariella Garcia, Daley, Ayanna Johnson, and Bobb finished second to qualify for the finals with a time of 3:45.46.
