The Bermuda National Athletics Association (BNAA) announced the Bermuda National Championships have been moved to July 1st and 2nd.
A statement released by the President Dr. Freddie Evans to coaches and athletes states, “All athletes who wish to be considered for any International competitions must compete in our National Championships. Senior athletes, the BNAA will seek recommendations from you on athletes to invite to participate in the championships to create a competitive field. U20 & U17 athletes, please note that the BNAA is inviting selected American athletes to make a competitive field.
Up-coming International Events:
Caribbean Games – limited events June 13th – 17th; this is a Bermuda Olympic Association Event
Eligibility: Athletes must be born between January 1, 2000, and December 31st, 2002
At the request of the organizers, non-qualified athletes’ names can be submitted, however, the entries will be ranked to determine who will be invited to participate. Entry submissions are due by May 20th, 2022.
World Athletics Championships July 15th – 24th
World rankings and standards are required.
Commonwealth Games Aug 2nd – 7th
Athletes must meet the set standards in the competition year.

Bermuda only has one male spot available, if both athletes hit the standard, BOA will petition to receive an additional male entry position.
