Just days after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Math Magna Cum Laude (High Honors), Tiara DeRosa was crowned the SWAC Women’s Shot Putt Female Champion.
Representing Mississippi Valley State, DeRosa had a top toss of 14.29m, which came on her 3rd attempt.
DeRosa’s first attempt went 13.09m, the 2nd attempt went a little further at 13.75m.
DeRosa would then throw that distance of 14.29m, which was followed by a Foul.
The 5th attempt saw DeRosa reach a distance of 13.04m, and then on her final attempt, DeRosa recorded a Foul.
DeRosa would also compete in the Women’s Weight Throw, she would finish 6th with a top toss of 16.56m.
