The first meeting of the NACAC Council will take place on Thursday January 21st, 2021 beginning at 7.00pm, Eastern Caribbean Time.
High on the agenda will be the decision in respect of the Carifta Games of 2021, originally scheduled for Bermuda over the Easter Weekend of 2020 but postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Council will discuss the findings of the Survey of Carifta Family member federations and decide on the way forward.
Meanwhile NACAC President Sands, General Secretary, Joseph and Competitions Director, Serralta, will convene for the weekly meeting at which the competitions calendar will be discussed.
Great attention is being paid to the continuing impact of COVID-19 on the changing health protocols of the countries of our Area and how these cause adjustments, including possible cancellations of events.
Discussions will also focus on those competitions for which NACAC do not yet have a host member federation.
