The number of Athletes who have met the Carifta Games Standards is now at 16 as Suresh Black competed in the Silverhawk Open in Winterpark, Florida representing First Academy Orlando would do so.
Black won the 100m Dash in a time of 10.96 which is just off the Under 20 Boys Carifta Qualifying Standard of 10.78.
Black then came back and won the 200m Dash in a time 21.78 which met the Under 20 Boys Carifta Qualifying Standard of 21.80.
Black has now Qualified for a 2nd time to compete in the Carifta Games, and is hoping to make his first appearance as last year he was injured and was unable to attend.
