BNA Youth & Senior Leagues Round-Up

Bermuda Netball Association’s league season continued at the Bernard’s Park with action in all four Divisions.

Under 11 Division

Rangers defeated the North Village Lady Rams 33 – 4, Eleanor Kurlualeba led the rangers to victory with 21 goals, E'rynn Paynter added 11 goals, with MVP Zaylee Lawrence scoring once. The North Village Lady Rams got 3 goals from Dani Brown and a single goal from Kenzie McCray, with ZaRyah Holman named the team’s MVP.

The Storm defeated the Phoenix Sparks 13 – 1. Diya Steede scored 6 goals for the Storm, Journee Belboda added 4 goals, and Mayah Williams-Johnson scored 3 times, Tallulah Parkinson was named the MVP. The lone Phoenix Sparks goal came from Kim-Mora Mallory, with Samara Johnstone-Deshield named the MVP.

Under 14 Division

The Phoenix Ambers defeated the Rangers 27 – 1, Makaylie Smith scored 11 goals to lead the Phoenix Ambers to victory, Sydney Santos scored 7 times, while Khylie Smith scored 6 goals, and Hailey Trott added three goals, with Uni Simmons named the MVP. Saajida Daniels scored the lone goal for the Rangers, with Ja'Miyah Johnston named MVP.

Under 17 Division

The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Storm 13 – 10, Arianna Sabir scored 10 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, with J'zari Zuill-Dillas adding the other three goals, with Samaya Lightbourne named the MVP. Amayah Burt scored all ten goals for the Storm, with Amara Richards named the MVP.

Senior Division

The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Docksiders 44 – 28, Darrika Simons and Zhanae Simmons both scored 22 goals to lead the North Village Lady Rams to victory, with Jordy Morris named MVP. Charlie Evans scored 17 goals for the Docksiders, Jess Arneil added 10 goals, with Z. Rubaine scoring once, with Olivia Bugg named the teams MVP.

Phoenix would get 37 goals from Danielle Raynor, and 20 goals from Ebonie Cox as they defeated the Tigers 57 – 25, Chelzea Somner was named the MVP. Jahtuere Trott would lead the Tigers with 10 goals, Charlene Gomez added 6 goals, with JahKenya Trott adding 5 goals, and Dru Bascome scored 4 times, with Peta Gaye Scott named the MVP.
