Digicel Under 12 Division
The North Village Lady Rams White and the North Village Lady Rams Red shared the honors in the Digicel Under 12 Division opener at the Bernard Park. The North Village Lady Rams White would get 5 goals from Aniyah Swan 5, while Ra'eesah Robinson added 3 and Carleigh Rodney added the other, Camryn Lines was named the teams MVP, while the North Village Lady Rams would get 6 goals from MVP Jazya Brimmer Peets, Xaana Greene would add 2 goals and A'migh Moore would score once.
The Phoenix Sparks defeated the Storm 10 – 1, the Phoenix Sparks would be led to victory with 4 goals from MVP Khylie Smith, Sydney Santos would score twice, with Uni Simmons, Sanaa Grant, Hailey Trott and Skye Charles all added a goal each, while the Storm got a single goal from Jayunae Bailey, with Nevaeh Barclay was named the teams MVP.
Digicel Under 16 Division
The Phoenix Fire would defeat the North Village Lady Rams Red 20 – 13, K'xiyae Gibbons led the Phoenix Fire to victory with 13 goals, Nisaiah Berkeley added 7 goals, while Kacey McGowan was named the teams MVP. Rhiannon Higgins scored 7 goals for the North Village Lady Rams Red, Coriah Simmons added the other 6 goals, Maya Crockwell was named the teams MVP.
MVP Kammie Mills would score 12 goals to lead the Warriors to a 15 – 13 win over the Storm Thunder, Arianna Sabir added 3 goals. The Storm Thunder got 6 goals from Amayah Burt, Makaylie Smith added 4 goals and Jaelyn Rewan scored 3 times, Deontae Scott was named the teams MVP.
The Storm Lightning defeated the North Village Lady Rams White 40 – 6. Amaiah Butterfield would lead the Storm Lightning to victory with 21 goals, MVP Elishae Smith added 10 goals, while Asrael Basden and Kemiyah Butterfield both scored 4 times each. The North Village Lady Rams White got 4 goals from Gabrielle Romaine, while MVP Sanaa Berkeley added 2 goals.
Senior Division
Only one senior game was on tap tonight and it was quite a battle, with the Lindo’s Tigers edging the North Village Rams 34 – 33.
The North Village Rams knew they had a battle in store with their leading goal scorer Jahtuere Trott out with an injury, with veteran player/coach Nicole Smith stepping up to the plate. The game was a see saw battle with both teams gaining the lead throughout the entire game.
The Lindo’s Tigers were led to victory by Jahenya Trott who scored 23 goals, while Charlene Gomez added 11 goals, Stephanie Barnwell was named the MVP. Smith would score 18 goals for the North Village Rams, Darrika Simons would add 9 goals and MVP Chaquita Simmons would score 6 goals.
