Bermuda sailors concluded competing in the 2021 Orange Bowl Regatta off the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Florida, the competitors would compete in one race on the final day.
Sophia Dias, Sam Redburn, Noah Amaradasa, Dylan Menzies, Oliver Soares, Jack Adderley, Evan Davis, and Nina Gotfredsen began competing in the Optimist Fleet that was split into three groups, and now have a nine race series.
Soares led the Bermuda sailors in the fleet coming off the water 90th with 238 Net Points, Dias finished in 95th, with 262 Net Points, while Menzies finished in 114th with 339 Net Points, and Amaradasa finished in 128th with 377 Net Points.
Adderley ended the regatta in 136th position, while Davis finished in 142nd, Redburn finished 179th, and Gotfredsen ended the fleet in 195th.
Gryffyn Benevides, Fox Targett, Indira Coleman, Oliver West, and Tadhg Gotfredsen are all competing in the Optimist Green Fleet.
Targett was the top Bermuda sailors in the fleet finishing 44th with 322 Net Points, Coleman finished 52nd with 419 Net Points, while Benevides finished in 60th with 499 Net Points, and Gotfredsen finished in 62nd with 563 Net Points.
Bermuda sailors in the ILCA 4 Fleet of Isaac Wickramage, Ben Redburn, Ciarra Wells, and Pharaoh Benevides never got in a race on the day, while Sergio de Frias was also unable to compete along with the rest of the ILCA 6 Fleet on the day.
In the ILCA 4 Fleet, Redburn finished in 38th place with 209 points, Wickramage was 46th with 250 points, Benevides ended the regatta in 51st with 277 points, and Wells finished in 55th place with 306 points, and De Frias finished in 70th with 222 Net Points in the ILCA 6 Fleet.
