The eight Bermuda young sailors were back in action competing in the 2021 South American Optimist Championships in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
Ethan Thompson, Sarah Davis, Trystan Hocking, Shiloh Cruickshank, Oliver Soares, Riley Lowe, Sophia Dias, and Dylan Menzies all took to the water for the 3 more races on Day Four of Individual racing.
Thompson continues to lead the Bermuda Fleet, as he came off the water in 7th place overall with 78 Net Points, he finished 24th in the first race, which was the eighth of the series, he would then finish 10th in the second race, and then he finished 20th in the final race of the day.
Davis currently is holding down the 55th spot with 129 Net Points, after finishes of 9th, 16th, and 4th, Dias had finishes of 12th, 2nd, and 7th for her 154 Net Points to finish the day in 61st place, while Lowe is in 78th with 218 Net Points, and Cruickshank is in 90th place with 260 Net Points,
Hocking is in 99th with 293 points, while Soares is in 116th with 231 points, and Menzies is in 118th with 247 points.
